No. The Free tier is genuinely free — no credit card required, no trial expiry. The stack builder and plugin directory are yours to use without any payment information.
On the Free tier, the stack builder works in real time but your configuration is not persisted. Upgrading to Paid lets you save named stacks, load them later, share them via a unique URL, and compare two stacks side by side.
Paid and Premium subscribers get access to StackSpeed's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. This lets you connect your AI coding assistant directly to StackSpeed so it can query plugin performance data while you work, without leaving your editor.
Premium subscribers can connect their live WordPress sites using WordPress Application Passwords — a built-in, credential-free OAuth-style flow. StackSpeed can then read your active plugin list directly and generate a performance report for your real stack.
Yes. Subscriptions are monthly and you can cancel at any time from your account settings. You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
